Maple Roasted Fall Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of halved brussel sprouts
  • 2 cups of turnips cut into wedges
  • 2 cups of carrots slant cut
  • 1 cup of chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix together all ingredients well and season with salt and pepper. Put into a roasting pan and throw into a 400 degree Fahrenheit oven for 20-25 minutes, until the vegetables are soft and caramelized. Make sure to stir occasionally to prevent uneven cooking.
